Drawing from key local landmarks including the Fox River and the BNSF railroad line, both of which have long served as vital lifelines in the City of Aurora, Illinois' growth and development, this work offers an abstract reinterpretation of the area in which it is situated. By referencing these foundational elements of the city’s past and present, this mural translates the region’s history, movement, and infrastructure into a contemporary visual form.
